El Morya’s Gift of the Worldwide Ashram

Some friends have asked me about ‘where I am at’ these days. By way of answering, I’d like to do some sharing here on the Worldwide Ashram site, where a number of us have found a spiritual meeting place, a place that really feels like home! Well, as ‘homelike’ anyway as this temporal earthly way station can get…

The Ashram is a wonderful gift from the heart of a Great Soul named El Morya. Way back in the early 1950s, he gave out a series of letters, including a set of meditations and contemplative practices, designed to bring genuine spiritual seekers together without interfering ideologies, ‘organizational baggage,’ ‘struggling egos,’ etc., getting in the way. By exploring the website you can see for yourself how well he succeeded and if this might be something for you.

In the Ashram we have both an online and in-person community of worship, along with meaningful  companionship and mutual support. And we have found ourselves in an ongoing spiritual dialogue whereby, inspired by Morya’s writings, we are earnestly exploring the form and function of the 21st Century spiritual organization or, as we prefer, community. We ask ourselves, what does it mean to be a leader, to lead, to follow, in a true spiritual community.

We see these as worthwhile questions to confront. In confronting them, honestly and lovingly, we have formed deep bonds of respect and just plain amazing collective insights and inspirations! We even believe we have managed to envision the beginnings of a real Aquarian paradigm of religion and spirituality, a vision of what our souls have sought after since at least as early as we first began a to walk consciously on a spiritual path.

I believe I can speak for all of my brothers and sisters in the Ashram when I say I look forward to sharing this inspiration and dialoguing with you on these pages, and, God willing, in person.

Let us do this in the spirit of El Morya, who has said to us, “Think of the stars that give their light to humanity. Be like those stars and give your love, wisdom and knowledge to others.”

My computer doesn’t have Microsoft Office and I am trying to get in touch with anyone in the Ashram so that I can get on the mailing list in order to learn more about universal brotherhood (something that is sorely missing in my current community). Please email me at: suntoson33@gmail.com and please let me know how I can be a part of a study group and/or decree session in my area. – Thanks
